2023 L-S Turkey Drive

Support the L-S Turkey Drive and become someone’s reason to be thankful this Thanksgiving. The drive is sponsored by Lampeter, Strasburg, and Willow Street Community Churches.

Schools will be collecting these items from Nov. 13th through Nov. 15th
CANNED Vegetables
CANNED Gravy
CANNED Cranberry Sauce/Fruit
BOXED Stuffing
INSTANT Mashed Potatoes

This year, the elementary schools will be accepting specific items:

Lampeter Elementary School - canned gravy, boxed mashed potatoes, boxed stuffing
Hans Herr Elementary School - canned vegetables, canned fruit, cranberry sauce

We're also collecting $25 Weis Market or Giant gift cards to be provided in each box for the recipient to purchase a turkey/ham and a dessert for their meal. Monetary donations can be made either to your child’s school or directly to Lampeter Church of the Brethren. 100% of the monies received go directly towards purchasing food/grocery store gift cards for local families.

RESERVE A MEAL

Could you or a family you know benefit from a boxed meal for Thanksgiving? Meals are available for pick up on Monday, November 20th from 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., or Tuesday, November 21st from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Lampeter Church of the Brethren. Meals must be reserved by November 10th. All names will remain confidential.
